Take Action for Safer Lorries

CTC has launched an online action asking members and supporters to Take Action for Safer Lorries as part of our ongoing Action on Lorries campaign. This is in response to Transport for London’s (TfL) consultation on requiring lorries to have glass vision panels in their passenger doors. CTC has proposed a roadmap showing how TfL can move from initially preferring direct vision to ultimately banning non-direct vision lorries. If TFL accepts our proposed roadmap, this could lead to lorries with restricted vision being removed from our roads nationally, saving cyclists’ lives. So add your support to our action now – the deadline is Friday 4 March 2016.
