Hi Everybody,

The popular choice for Rosas seems not to be that popular with every body as some cannot face the bike bus 19 hour journey, also the report from Bob Hazell regarding the condition of the bike bus is not encouraging.

I have contacted EBB seeking assurances that the buses will be OK for June but have yet to receive a reply.

So I thought I would look at alternatives.

Walsdorf Campsite Luxembourg Saturday 27th August to Saturday 3rd September

Same company as Dordogne who have three other sites in Europe run on the same basis as La Draille, Black Forest too far 650 miles from Calais , Spain Rosas too far and Luxembourg 255miles from Calais.

The site is situated just on the border with Germany Walsdorf Vakantiepark  www.campingwalsdorf.com 24 miles north of Luxembourg City. Check out the website.

It is a smaller site with chalets and lodge tents with toilets are also available, therefore the accommodation may have to be shared but it would be on the same basis as Dordogne  buffet continental breakfast and evening meal included in the price around 275 euros per person (to be confirmed).

This site is an easy drive of Calais on autoroutes with no tolls except if you go via Rheims. The format was very successful in the Dordogne especially for the non riding partners and at this price it represents amazing value for money again.

It would as the dates shown above.  Having spent a week in Luxembourg at the beginning of the year I can assure those that have not visited the area that it is beautiful and very friendly

I would greatly appreciate a yes I am interested  by the 1st October and mention that you are interested in both or just one Rosas or Luxembourg. 30% deposit will be required by the 1st January but  all that comes later.

I will look at the interest for both holidays evaluate the mix of riders and decide which holiday to run with.

My email annabelle.sims@btinternet.com

kind regards  Dave
